Serie A to remain on BT Sport until 2018

February 25, 2015 by Staff

bt_sport_micBT has extended its rights to show Italy’s Serie A for a further three years.

The deal makes BT Sport the competition’s exclusive UK home until 2017/18 and gives it access to up to 380 live matches per season.

Serie A will sit alongside BT’s coverage of the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “Serie A attracts some of the best players in the world and is a fantastic, competitive league featuring some of the legendary teams of European folklore, such as Juventus, AC Milan, Inter and Roma.
