Eurosport has secured global rights to Vuelta a San Juan, Argentina’s biggest cycling race, which kicks off on January 27th.
The broadcaster will show the seven-stage race in all territories outside Latin America, and will offer at least one and a half hours of exclusive live coverage per day across Europe and Asia on Eurosport and through its Eurosport Player streaming service.
Commenting on the deal, Eurosport’s Laurent Prud’homme, said: “We are delighted to add live coverage of the Vuelta a San Juan to our unrivalled cycling portfolio.
“This year’s race features some of the biggest names in the sport and will start a record-breaking year for our live cycling coverage as we bring more hours than ever before to screens across Europe.
“If you’re a cycling fan, Eurosport has all the races that matter and is the best place to follow the peloton on all platforms and devices, at home or on the go.”
