BBC Sport is updating its Apple and Android apps to offer a more personalised experience, including a new My Sport page and live updates and score alerts which can be activated by creating a new login for the app.
In addition to a curated homepage, sports fans will be able to follow over 300 topics, including Formula 1, tennis women’s football and snooker plus news from the user’s football, cricket and rugby teams.
Neil Hall, Head of Sport Product, BBC Digital says “We know keeping up to speed with what’s going on in the world of sport is really important to sports fans – and increasingly on mobile devices.
“Today marks an important step towards making that experience personal and tailored to each sport fan out there with the BBC Sport app. We are really looking forward to seeing the reaction from fans over the coming months and creating a truly personal Sport service for everyone.”
